Going more to the east you can reach the famous destination of the region – a mountain out of ore.
A past zug of the team „Katl“ takes the visitors 1,5 kilometres up to the inside of the mountain out of ore – you will be equipped with miner’s dress.
The work of mine development and apparatus as well as the methods of underground disassembly are displayed impressively. There are plenty of details that show the development of drilling practice and blasting practice, the techniques of charging and boosting as well as the security oft he building in the cavern by several techniques of reconstructing. You can listen to an audiovisual presentation that shows the formation oft he mountain out of ore – beginning with the big bang about 4 to 6 billion of years ago – after laid off material thickened to stars and planets to volcanic activities, limescales and tectonic plate movement to the late distortion of siderite.
An originally reagjusted detonantion wins a lot of enthusiasm. It simulates the pretty fast exploitation of 60 tons of rocks within a few seconds in a tunnelt that has a size of 10 m². There are dazzling lightnings that shine through the darkness oft he labyrinth in the cavern with ear-piercing sounds and ascending gun smoke. The visitor of the show mountain is right in the center of action! The unique highlight will be a ride with the heavy-duty vehicle „Hauly“ that will take you up to an over-dimensional ride to the steps of the mountain out of ore.
